Holiday Cheer
Just home from work and thinking about the holidays. I've missed the year-round Christmas music the Big Man used to play. Wherever you are Carlton, happy holidays. I sure do miss you.

Square from Carlton's memorial quilt

You just got drawn in by his bright, generous and exuberant spirit, not to mention the fact that he was absolutely hilarious! The man could have a whole room of people in stitches with his antics... Carlton Candler in New Zealand
This Northern Hemisphere Summer (kiwi winter) Carlton charmed everyone he met in the North Island. But my Dad and he found the home away from home in Paualand.
Paradise Island, 2002
First day of school at the classroom Carlton and I referred to as Paradise Island. We were far away from the main Elysian building which made it all the more fun.
